CEL problem

CEL went on today driving home in my 06 2500 qc auto with 77K, stock. Changed AF Cummins yesterday and drove fine for 60 miles then tried to stick foot in it to blow some smoke and truck would not rev cleanly or above 2K, tried again and still not revving and CEL went on. Runs fine just no rev above 2k. Disconnected/reconnect batteries, no luck. Tried key on/off and no codes but CEL will flash 10 times then stay on. Any ideas before I get to mechanic?

Did you unplug the wiring connection at the A/F?

Running out of power above 2K???... Has the fuel filter been changed recently???

Turns out it is a PO148 fuel delivery code - looks like lift pump - fuel filter was changed 6K ago but going to change tomorrow to be sure then it is going to dealer Monday am since it is still under the 100K warranty

Had it scanned while driving and confirmed fuel pressure drop, went ahead and changed fuel filter and bingo all is good again. Must have happened when I ran tank down real low on trip from coast.
