My CEL started coming on at about 746 mi. Last week I was at the dealer 3 times, now I'm at 2200 mi. Service guy cleared it twice, P2262 both times and one of barometric sensor. Truck never ran bad, sometimes it seems like it hesitates on take off, sometimes it takes off great, don't know what thats all about, but it does it with the light on or off!? Turns out, Saturday, I changed the oil and filter (Delo 400 and FleetGuard filter) and I haven't had a light come on since, huh??????????? "knocking on wood" I leave for vacation Friday, towing 14000lbs for 450 miles, Hope it holds together. Also my change oil now light came on at 2020 mi. The last cel light I had before the oil change I made go away by cycling the key about 8 million times. I'm sure the code is still there, the light is just off. Hope this helps.

The only notice you will have is when it becomes 80% or higher restricted. Under normal circumstances, you will never know it goes into re-gen unless you have a EGT gauge. Personally, I have only seen re-gen twice, and it has been a while since the last one. I have 9700 miles on mine and the last re-gen was around 5300 miles. The way I understand it, if you don't sit and idle, and keep your trips long enough to get the exhaust hot and stay there for a while, you won't go into re-gen. I tow around 6,800lbs 95% of the time, in the hills at highway speeds with the average trip taking at least 30 mins. I took a 3400 mile trip to Mass. and back last April, and never saw a re-gen.

Thanks, i did not understand that this was a regen thing.

Have about 10000 onmine half towinf 13000 5er. Runs great just keep it away from the dealer.
