Cellphone Buddy

Has anyone bought the Cellphone Buddy reviewed in Issue 39 at page 151? Mr. Bob's Distributing sells the product. It is a product that lets you avoid holding onto your cellphone while driving and uses the truck stereo speakers. Does anyone have any experience with a similar after market product?

I haven't bought one yet but I have used Mr Bob's phone in his truck while running. Hands free and good sound quality over the sounds of his 4" exhaust.

I picked up one from LetsTalk.com, (where I bought my cell phone), works pretty good. It came with an extension as well. I had to work at it a little to get the angles right so as not to block the radio controls or the gear selector on the column. Mine has two features whereby you can either use a speaker in the unit or press a button and everything goes through the radio. It also came with a microphone unit I wired up to the center console on the roof. (Had to cut and splice some extra wire for the proper length. ) Sometimes I get a little funny feedback, but for the most part I'm pleased. It also charges the phone as well.
