Yes it hardly seems worthwhile to put in the 911 thread, but I would really like my armrest back. The console got put up for a third passenger and won't go down again. It's always just folded back down without problems, but it seems like it's locked this time. Is there some kind of release that I don't know about?

Thanks

I have found mine do that from time to time, I usually just have to put one hand on the bottom of it and lift as i pull it down, hasnt failed me yet, but then again, I now have bucket seats and a custom console in place so I can't have a 3rd pass anymore, but that is what worked before.

My center console has done the same thing since I got my mighty dodge. I just give it a wiggle as I pull it down, it has worked so far, I always figured it to be a worn bolt/pin in the console. Just another quirk I can live with... It starts every day

Since that center console is also seatback, it has a saftey feature in case of colision it stays in the "upright" position. If the console is in the up position and are on a steep enough incline the saftey will engage (it's a mechanical gravity style), so maybe it is haging up somehow.

Thanks guys, I finally got it. It has sort of caught before, but usually moved after a little wiggle. This time it had been up for a few days and it was starting to really get to me.

I'm having a blast pushing snow with the old truck. :D Woo HOO
