2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission center console stuck open

A TDR search for this problem doesn't reveal any actual fix. I tried the pulling to the side and looking for some "thing" to push, but to no avail. Does anyone have a real cure? This is for my old '97 and it's never happened before.

Howdy Vaughn! Yeah, I sold the green one to my Mom, who has used it mostly for a farm truck. Still running great at 280K+! Of course, it looks like it will be going up for sale since they have their '03 dually and don't have a farm any more...

Maybe I should buy it back for a tow truck for the Princess, and make her a real race truck. :-laf

Yeah you oughta set it up for a tow rig, that would be kinda cool I was watching a video of the ol green truck just the other day, turned a 17-something in the quarter mile!
