I just purchased a 97 4x4 dually and one of the center, hub caps is missing off the rear wheel. I assume these were factory caps that have the 8 simulated lug nuts on the cap. They appear to just pop into place, and pry out for removal. They appear to be light alluminum, and not some high dollar simulators. Any help on a good source to get a matching replacement online?

Thanks

Jay

hubcaps

there is one on e-bay right now think it on for two more days. i got on for mine in the junkyard. they are rather exspensive at the dealer.

I just bought a whole new aftermarket set off of Ebay that bolt on and I love them. I got tired of replacing the factory ones. They are nice and shiny and the center cap is Stailess steel, not plastic. I Picked them up for $89 +$19 shipping, way cheaper then the OEM. I've seen them from somewhere else for $99. I'll try to post a picture this weekend.

Those look real good!

Do the factory ones fall off fairly easily?

Does anyone know why I do not receive e-mail notifications when someone posts to a thread I started? I have e-mail notifications checked. Seems kind of weird.

Thanks a bunch

Jay

I've not had any trouble with the OEM covers coming off on the road, but I have to go off-road a bit hauling hay and cattle. I've lost three of them, but only found one. The centers are bout $60 and they told me the outer ring was $180, so I opted for the aftermarkets. so far no problems
