Someone asked a while back about centering the steering wheel on the 4X4 trucks with cruise control. I did mine today, pull the wheel and just move the splines around until the wheel is centered. The cruise control wires come through a rather wide slot and you con move the wheel quite a ways before it looks like there would be any problem.

That was me with the steering wheel question.

I guess I will have to take my wheel off again and see what I could not do last time!!

It is kind of hard to explain, but the plastci part behind the wheel has a flat spot that matches up with the back of the wheel, look at the back of the wheel and you will see what I am talking about. When you pull the wheel, don't pull too far, just past the end of the spines and the plastic piece will turn with the wheel. I think the plastic piece has the turn signal canceller on it. My wheel was about 30 degrees to the left when I started, after the 2 1/2 inch lift which aggravated the problem but it centered nicely.

Well,

Tonight I got home from work and centered my wheel, I think my problem before was after the 4" lift my wheel was upside down and I could not go that far. About 9 months ago I bought an adjustable drag link, and even then it was at the 10 oclock position and out of adjustment!! So now it is straight and I am not used to it!!
