Central Texas tire kicking, BSing get together

Well folks its about time for ya,all to meet in the parking lot and tell us what you did to your truck lately. I havnt seen some of you guys for a while so there must be some good stuff to talk about. I know at least 2 of you went and bought new trucks. So what is good for all of you that can get away for a Sat or Sun.

My girlfriend and I'll be in Waco this weekend. No guarantees, my truck will be back together yet, but I sure hope so.



Maybe I can get lost in a weird neighborhood again, and you can follow me around til I find my way out like we did in Kerrville, eh?



I've done a LOT to my truck since we met last. But, I haven't driven it since then either.



Cumminsgetme, went street racing in Waco last weekend and had an absolute blast. I'm sure he'd be up for it again if he doesn't have to work.



I would only be available Saturday evening and Sunday depending on how the tournament goes!

I'll also be in Waco this weekend. I have to work saturday until a little after dark then I'll be free. Saturday is the only day I will have to work, leaving both friday and sunday open. I know this is short notice for a lot of people but if anyone in that area is interested in getting together we could meet sunday, then plan a more structured get together for a later date.

That sounds good to me, how about this coming Sunday morning around 10am or 11am in Waco. It is short notice for some so we can do it again in a couple of weeks for those who want to come later. How about on Valley Mills in the parking lot where the old Wal-Mart used to be, Its now Tractor Supply and there is a taco Bell, Casa Ole, Whataburger and some other stuff there. how does 11:30 sound to everybody. We can do the parking lot thing for a while and then get something to eat once everybody has a chance to get there. Plenty of room for Strick 9 to show us a burn out.

Sorry to disappoint you guys, but there will be no burnouts for me. My limited slip is 100% useless. All I can do is boil a right rear tire. That's no fun!



I have a detroit locker on my 'wish list', but getting the truck running is of a higher priority right now.



I'm taking off work tomorrow to spend a full day with the truck. Cumminsgetme is coming over now to help. I have to leave tomorrow night for Waco whether the truck is running or not.

This get together is open to anyone who wants to come, membership not required and this is very informal just a bunch of Diesel heads gathering in a parking lot to talk trucks and maybe have some lunch so if you have been cruisin the TDR and want to meet some nice truck folks come on out.

Take I-35 into the middle of Waco, dont know exit #, but Take Valley Mills exit and go West. If you go the wrong way you will see the Elite Cafe and the traffic circle turn around and go the other direction, It is about 2 or 3 miles approximate, when you go over another road like on a over pass you are almost there, there is a Just Brakes on the right and Taco Bell and Tractor Supply on the left and we will be in that parking lot right at the street. Also a Casa Ole and Dollar General in the same parking lot.

Well another Diesel head get together is history and lotsa fun. A small turn out but great fun and the trip up Valley Mills ave by 4 smokin Diesels chasing each other was pretty cool too. Cumminsgetme brought a G-Tech and I was pleased with the HP numbers, thats a fun tool. The only trouble with these meetings is they always cost me money, now its governor spring kit next. These guys have some strong running trucks and its too much fun to miss.

Give me a week of tweaking and tuning, and I'll be making some REAL power.
