Hello Folk's,

I haven't been on here in awhile and just want to share my problem with you. I had centramatic wheel balancers on my truck for almost 2 years and 43k miles when I developed what I thought was an unbalanced tire. After rotating tires once and rebalancing them three times without any change, I decided to take off the centramatics. WOW, the problem went away! I was sure that I had a bad tire or something else but, it was the centramatic. It seemed like the beads in a couple of them weren't moving freely. Other than that, I can't tell anything about them. Anyhow, I haven't been able to locate my receipe but, have contacted Mr Truck where I had purchased them. They have been very friendly and are searching their records for my receipe. Hopefully they can find it. What I should have mentioned before is that prior to them going bad, they worked wonderfully!

If you can't get them replaced for free you should try the BalanceMasters. It's the same principle except that it uses liquid mercury so there are no balls to get stuck. Mine work great. I cannot believe how good the tires still look after all the squealing takeoffs I have done.

I'll be very interested to see whether Centramatics honors their lifetime warranty. I have a set myself.

Update, The gentleman from Mr Truck called me the other day to let me know that they had found proof of my receipt and told me to ship them back. Once they receive them, they will send me another set. So far, the customer service has been great!

To answer another question someone had; I had 43K miles on the centramatics.

Got My New Centramatics

Just wanted to keep you folk's up to date and let you know that I received my new centramatics today. All I can say is, dealing with MrTruck and Centramatic has probably been the best "service after the sale" experience I have ever had. So, for those of you with concerns about the warranty on centramatics, fear not. They stand behind there product! I just wish everyone else would.

The guys at Mr. Truck were the ones who did the group purchase that I got going here about 1 1/2 yrs ago , I have been happy with both the Centramatics & Mr. Truck , so with this kind of service buying the Centramatics & comparing to the balance masters , it takes the worry out , I can imagine how the beads can get stuck .
