How much does a Centrifugle oil filters cost?

Just how good does it filter the oil?

They work great - usually down to 1-2 micron.



They are expensive - usually in the $500 + range but it is a one time install as there are no filter elements to replace.

It is actually a centrifugal (as in centrifuge) filter. Uses the oil pressure to spin a center internal piece to spin out any solids that are in the oil.
