Ceramic Brake Pads?

Has anyone tried Ceramic pads and if so, results.

I understand new vehicles have ceramic pads. Raybestos has replacements for older vehicles like my 95 Ram.

I have the ceramic pads on my "95. I have warped one set of rotors with them already. Now, I may not be spending enough money on rotors either. A good mechanic told me the ceramic pads operated at higher temps than organic pads and can heat crack or warp rotors. I like the feel of the braking well enough, but I would like more. It's time for me to give attention to my rear drums and make them work better to take some "pressure" off the front brake system. HTH
