Competition ceramic turbine wheel

there's a turbo on ebay with a ceramic turbine wheel. supposed to be for quicker spool. the guy says it has to be mounted to an engine in "good running order" so that no chunks of carbon come flying out of the engine and, i guess, crash into the wheel. anybody ever heard of one of these being run on a diesel? thanks.
