I am thinking about having my turbo housing ceramic coated. Has anyone experienced a noticable benefit from doing this or is it more for cosmetic purposes (it will look better). Is Jet Hot the best way to go? What should I expect to pay to have this done?

What part do you think one would benefit the most from coating? It seems to me if we coated the tubes for the intercooler and the intake horn, there could be something to be gained.

Thanks for the advice,

Ryan

First of all Cooker, it looks awesome! I had my Banks 14 cm2 turbine housing ceramic coated in 2000 degree F. matte black along with my ATS exhaust manifold. All components were ceramic coated inside AND out by Performance Coatings Inc. of Auburn, WA. at a cost of $276. Another performance benefit, the heat retention attributes they spoke of are true... lower underhood temps. although, it takes a little extra time to get the EGTs down at shut down... about the same amount of time you would spend if you had a Hitco/Geno's Garage exhaust blanket installed. I wouldn't think twice about doing it again.
