For those who have changed the delivery valves and now some of the barrels are leaking, I found a weekend solution. You can use the green orings if you cannot locate the OEM ones. Some will disagree, but this oring does more than just a dust seal, because when mines was torn up, it leaked a little until I replaced it.

Every hobbiest should have a peice of "crokis cloth" a very fine emery cloth used to polish camshaft / crankshaft jornals. The barrel actully bites into the top of the delivery valves leaving an outline or scratches in a circular pattern. Sometimes the barrel gets an imperfections and does not seal against the DV.

Here is how I solved it: (SKIP STEP 2 IF DV IS BRAND NEW)

Find a nice flat surface like marble, or a machine surface and lay the cloth flat.

1. Remove DV and set the inner valve aside.

2. Turn valve upside down and rub in a circuilar motion on the cloth until the circular scratch ring is gone. See photos below. The top of the valve should look like new.

3. Do the same for the barrel, BUT MAKE SURE ALL THE SHIMS ARE OUT or you will drop them all over the floor. Rub as straight as possible and it will also shine line new.

4. Install a new green A/C o-ring if you cannot find the OEM tan colored o-rings.

5. Clean everything in fresh diesel and install the DV into pump. Fill the hole with 2 stoke oil and also dip the barrel into it to soak the oring. The oil will help get a nice smooth torque value to 85 FT LBS.

6. After assembly, the oil makes it a little hard to start, you will need the pedal wide open, and about a minute of cranking in 15-20 sec intervals.

7. If ou don't see fuel streaming around the bores, go ahead and spray with brake clean and dry with compressed air, observe for minor leaks. If leaks continue, the barrel needs replaced.

I don't really see the need to add 2 stroke oil, but yes, those green o-rings are fine. That's what my pump shop gave me when I went to buy some from them

After having apart 4 times, I noticed it felt rough when trying to torque, inadvertently causing the torque wrench to snap as if it hit 85 when it probably was not quite at 85. Oil made it smooth and hit 85 with no roughness. Probably not necassary but certainly can't hurt.
