I changed my fuel filter today, and after doing many searches and reading old posts, I thought I figured out how to re-prime the system with fuel. I hooked everything up and losened the banjo at the VP-44 intake. After 20+ bumps of the starter, no fuel. So I removed the banjo comming from the lift pump to the filter, and no fuel when I bumped the starter. I hear the lift pump running, just no fuel. Is my lift pump dead? Help!!!

Yes, most likely your lift pump is dead :( . This is one of the reasons many of us say that a fuel pressure gauge is a mandatory item on any of the 24 valve trucks.
