Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Changed injectors on your 1998.5?

Had a leak afterwards that you couldn't figure out? I did and after re-tightening every thing a few times, and replacing o-rings I found this TSB.

Replaced the tubes and no more leaks.

This TSB relates to extwernal leak.



After upgrading my injectors, I thought the machine fit between injector & tube was suspect to a leak, but with "O" rings on injectors, I wondered where the diesel would go if it were leaking here.



Any thoughts?

I'll say this, the new tubes were visibly longer, and thus they must of been leaking where they connected to the injectors.

When buying injectors I was asked what year truck I have. I was told that early 24Vs had tubes that didnt like to be used twice.
