Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
With 2 1/2 years of driving and 75,683 miles behind me, I figured I better change out the coolant. Friend of mine who drives a Pherd (His wife owns the Dodge Cummins and she is the smart one) was raving about how he got some new Texaco coolant that is rated for 300,000 miles. I thought about this and in my research found that Fleetguard has a coolant that they call ESXtreme. It's Borate, Phosphate and Silicate-free and is rated to 600,000 miles or 12,000 hours of run time. So I picked up 12 gallons of pre-mixed and brought it home today. Drained out the factory original and then flushed the system with fresh water. Filled up again and put in 4 scoops of Electro-sol Automatic Dishwasher powder to act as my radiator flush. The mechanics at Cummins Northwest told me about this little trick. Its allot cheaper than buy the bottle stuff. Took her out for a 16 mile drive and then drained down the system and flushed with fresh water again and then refilled with fresh water and took it out and drove another 16 miles. Drained down the system and replaced the thermo-state with a new one. The inside of the block was rust free with new metal and the radiator core looks brand new. Removed and flushed out the overflow bottle I'm happy. Poured in this new coolant with is Garnet Red (Same color as the truck). Sunday when I go back to work, I'm going to leave a flier from Fleetguard about this new fluid on my Pherd friends desk at work. Part # is CC2785 for the pre-mix and CC2780 for the concentrate.
Oh! I almost forgot. I ordered my Road Relay 4 for the truck. Hopefully I can get it installed with out the wife knowing about it too quick. Wish me luck. Oo.
