Changing axle/transmission oils etc...Question?

I'm near the 100K mark with my 05 dually. I changed out all running gear oil at 48K and went to Amsoil. The oil that came out of the transmission was/appeared in good shape. Going to stick with Amsoil.



My "connect"(LOL) if you will for Amsoil is apparently on the blink. I need to find a dealer near Surprise, Az that I can work with and hopefully someone from the TDR board. Might as well keep the money in the family, so to speak.



If anyone knows a dealer in Az, near surprise thats a TDR member, please have him PM me.

PS: My NV5600 started overflowing at 4-1/3 quarts of oil. ????? I have transmission coolers on too!! I got 5 back in nearly tipping the truck over... . 4 3/4 came out.

Aren't fast coolers nearly a quart each? That doesn't sound right. I think a NV5600 is spec'ed at 5 quarts in stock form.

Most of the amsoil dealers can place an order and have it shipped to your door, regardless of their location. A quick search will find you many of them on the board here.

Sradke, it happened 48K ago too. It had less then everybody said it should. I pulled the plug yesterday and oil came pouring out of the stock fill hole and I measured all of it. 4 3/4 approx came out. The fast cooler look like they would hold a quart each if completely filled to the top.

Its worked good for 98K so far. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
