hey guys my slave cylinder went out and, i want to know what is involved with changing it, what needs to be removed, etc. is it something i can do under a shade tree, or something a shop needs to do?

thanx, ts, i got my price from chryslerpartsdirect.com for about $260, that includes the master cylinder and hoses as well,



should i change out the entire assembly, master cylinder, hoses, etc.

You are talking the clutch slave correct?



If so its a sealed unit undo it at both ends and put the new one in. If you can send it back get the other one $100. 00 cheaper.
 
yup, you have to replace the master/slave system as a whole. Call South Bend Clutch or Enterprise Engine for the best prices ($130-$150)

i removed all parts, ordered new parts from o-reilly auto parts for $175.
