Nope. When timing mine, there were no washers, seals, or gaskets to be replaced when I pulled #1 DV.

get a couple spare green o-rings from your Bosch shop for the delivery valve holders. You may tear one when screwing out the holder.

O-ring was smooth on mine so I left it alone. If I had replacements on hand, probably would have changed it. Did not and no problems so far.

Some DVs have a thin gasket down at the bottom. we always change the o-rings out on the DVs at work. o-rings and gaskets on the DVs vary from year to year, I'm not sure which years have what.

I was lucky to not to have to change mine out, but not saying you should not keep spares in the glove box, like Jim Said... Always good to keep spare parts!

191 dv install

When reinstalling the dv holders, do i need to lube the threads on the dv holder before installing them into the pump? If so what do i need to use?

Most folks just use diesel fuel as lube but a bit of grease is OK so long as you don't get a gob of it inside. The holder is cad plated steel, not brass.

How do you know all this Cummins minutiae? Maybe a bookcase full of service and parts manuals, tech white papers, etc. in the throne room?
