A lot of people really like the Bilstein's. The fronts are # BE56681-H-5. The rears are # BE56647-H-5.

Bilstein is supposed to come out with a shock dedicated to our trucks, in the future. The ones available, now, are actually for 2" lifted 1/2 ton trucks. They seem to work well, though. Regarding the "dedicated" shocks, Bilstein was supposed to have them out at the beginning of this year and has had 3 or 4 target dates since then. I called them yesterday and they have no idea when they will actually be available. These shocks are, aparently, not a high priority, since another shock is availablem, now. That's from Bilstein!!!

Kore Eng. has Bilstein's, with a valveing upgrade, for our trucks, now. This is the upgrade that will be used by Bilstein, in the future, I was told.

Hope this helps.

Hey Joe - I hope I'm still around when the Bilstein's become available. I'm at 70K miles and my OEMs are still doing the job. I think that a properly setup trailer, properly loaded has more to do with ride quality than better shocks. Sometimes I think people try to use shocks to cure a setup problem.

That being said, I'm probably going with the Kore variant in the not too distant future.

I was going to go with rancho 9000's but over the years I have seen more than a few people take off their 9000's in favor of Blisteins. I ordered blisteins last week and have had them on for about 3 days now, they made a very noticeable difference especially in the back.

you wont see me take mine off, or hear about it either :D

Rancho 9000s. Set the fronts on 3. The rears stay on 1 when empty, but go to 9 when towing.

Had a 6. 0 Powerstroke owner for a ride who commented on how much better the Dodge ride was compared to his Ford. Told him all of the running gear on a Dodge was better. :-laf

Many claim Bilsteins are good. I don't think they are adjustable though.
