What brand Oil and Filter do you use?

Last time I went with a 10,000 mile change. but I did some see stuff in my oil report that increased more they should (don't have the report with me right now). I figured I get the filter changed at 5000 miles and add a quart, and test this sample and see how it compares to the last 5000 mile test and the 10,000.

My issue, I have everything but the kit that sucks the oil from the pan via the dip stick tube (backorder) and I'm at 5000 miles. Would it mess with the results if I replaced the filter and one quart of oil this weekend and possibly do a test next?

ANY time you add oil it will change the overal results of you OA. When you send in the sample, you need to inform the lab of how much oil was added.

I sample my oil at every oil change. The sample tube fits into the dip stick tube but there is something blocking the tube from going into the pan. It happened in my 97 and 06. I hope you don't have the same problem I had.
