Changing out batteries

Well since I read all those post on batteries mine now need some. I cant decide on what kind, but my question is do I have to do anything special,ie drivers side first,or passenger side first? After change do I have to reset anything. I know this sounds odd but I don't want screw anything up.

Nothing special but it's best to disconnect both the negatives first so your wrench doesn't accidentally short on any grounded metal parts. Connect the negatives back up last.

Only things that need resetting are your clock and preset radio stations.
