Installing the big line kit from Opoole today and have a question about the rubber line from the lift pump to the hard line coming from the tank. Do you slit the existing rubber line to remove or must the hard line be cut?
I found that the rubber line to the lift pump has a plastic tube inside. Slit with a utillity knife at the hard line and comes right off.
The install was fairly easy. My pressure gauge was attached at the valve on the lift pump and now post filter so I can't compare the readings but does seem to be afew #'s higher.
Just getting ready to leave for some vacation time in the mountains so I'll be able to check things out. Also, haven't towed with the new B1 so I can put that to the test also. The fish in the lake better be ready because here I come.
how did you make it this long with the dueling/banjos bob? considering your sticks.
I did my line kit right after my gauges to use the fuel fitting and now im gona break my cherry and change out my first liftpump. First non/wear/maintinence part I have had to change on my truck now @ 60,000.
Where did you get the 90 degree fittings. I have done the pusher and big fuel line but it was done with straight fittings and I am uncomfortable with having a big bend in the fuel line to keep it from kinking.
Bob, I like the picture you posted of the replacement fuel lines and was wondering where to get the kit and how much. Does the line from the filter housing go all the way to the tank? Also will it hold up to B100? Thanks, Scott
