I replaced my CAC/Intercooler (aftercooler) on my 2001.5 due to cracks and found this to be a very well constructed replacement. Looks mil-spec in many ways... I didn't mind the price due to the construction, kind of took a chance:
Ready-Rad 0439009 Charge Air Cooler

This is actually an HBX/Truck Tough CAC with the silicone sealed tubes (no welds).... Proliance LLC or DURA-Lite construction. Yea!
Seems to be nicely made. It is a nice fit in the 2001 Ram 2500. Unit is a VistaPro Truck Tough™ CAC™ (HBX) http://vistaproauto.com/charge-air-coolers-0
Box said made in China but didn't have the same item in it that was listed on the stamped print on the box. Label was the correct P/N. I always thought this method was a Proliance International, Inc. patented product ORIGINALLY from Canadian born Dura-lite: http://www.duralite.net/content/charge-air-coolers , so who knows now. Overall this IS a very well made CAC replacement for at least a 2001 RAM Cummins.
VistaPro pitch:
"The aluminum charge air cooler is becoming a popular and common aftermarket item with CAC™ now showing up on bigger pickup trucks. The Vista-Pro CAC™ cools supercharged air coming from the engine's turbo while still meeting inlet air requirements. Available in all-aluminum brazed construction style, we also stock our patented better than OE grommetted Ultra-Seal® CAC. With Ultra-Seal®, a high-temperature-rated silicone grommet guides each CAC tube into the manifolds and allows them to breath, eliminating stress cracks at critical joints"
