2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Charging System

When idleing the head lights alternate bright then dim and i can hear the fass fuel pump surging the same way. I changed out the altenater and that didn't work. Is there a voltage regulter or somthing out side the altenater causing this problem.

?? grid heaters cycling on/off when cold, it's normal.....
Should be steady Voltage after truck is Hot,
Also, you need a good Voltmeter to verify Voltage of Alt...
