Chassis cab mirrors

Hi all, new member here, first post. .

I'm ordering a 2001. 5 BR3500 chassis cab at the end of december. I'm curious if they're coming with the new style flip up black trailer tow mirrors, or still coming with the old stainless tripod style.

That's a good question. Last week I saw a new cab & chassis sitting on the lot and it had the black flip-up mirrors on it. Unfortunately,I didn't look at the window sticker to see if the flip-ups are the standard or optional mirror.

The impression I got from the sales lititure was they are std. on chassis cabs. I can't wait to try mine out.

I'm not sure if they are std. equip. or not but the concrete contractor across the street from my work place just got 4 chassis cabs and all of em had the flip-ups,the trucks were stripper work specials so I think the must be std. equip.
At any rate before you spend the scratch your dealer should have the info,if they don't know just ask for a current brocure and I'm sure the specs in the back should tell the tale.
I'm still waiting for the power-defrost version to come out B-4 I jump on the wagon #ad
