Attention: TDR Forum Junkies I bought a set of cheap fog lights and finally got around to starting the install today.
My main question is where to tap in to a wire in the dash that is hot only with the ignition on. (the directions say to use one that is tied to the lights, which makes sense, but seems like it might be better to be able to turn them on w/o the main lights. Any thoughts on that? They have their own switch, fuse and relay. The switch looks more like a door bell than anything else, but the price was right (under $80 bucks on E-bay).
My other question is where to drill the fire wall, and should i plug the hole with something and if so what?
The directions say to get power right at the battery. Is there a better place to get it?
Lastly I need to buy new Bezels. The directions actually say to cut the ribs out of my existing plastic bezels and reinstall them. I can only imagine how "ghetto" that would look.
Where should I order new bezels? What is the address of a Mopar parts site? Is there more than one?
