Where to purchase Edge EZ or Comp?

Has anyone tried using one of these with a Laptop to do the OBD scans?

Specifically I have a 1999 but I would think any of the trucks around that year would be the same.

If you have, have you used it on any other cars?

These modules are cheap and the software is open source... So it should work on any computer.

Thanks,

Ira

Why not just buy the interface and cables from the guy who wrote the code for OBDII. You can get multiple interfaces and cables for cheaper, I think. He also keeps all the newest codes up to date at the site all the time. I personally haven't got it yet but I did download the software and try the Demo mode, it looks pretty good. When I do decide to get one it will be from him.
