NV4500 Rebuild questions

Just to save you some money I thought I would let you TDR fellows know that you can get a FRAM #8037 same thing I had it cross referenced over from the napa 2790 . The good thing is it was only 15$ instid of 30$ Have not installed yet but will post results later, tommrow Justin

Well, at the risk of sounding like a smart aleck, a $100 bill and charmin toilet paper are both paper : ) In about 82 we cut a Fram oil filter apart and a NAPA filter (made by WIX), the difference was large and impressive. I haven't bought Fram since that time, they seem to be a cheap filter for the uninformed masses. My truck really cost to much to scrimp on any type of filter, I want to get a lot of miles out of the old girl. I like to save a buck as much as anyone, but filters aren't the place for me to save. For the peace of mind go with the fleetguard 19037 for 38$and be done with it. Works for me remember cheapest isn't always best
