Archived Check engine from Juice

I just insalled the Edge Juice w/attitude on my 2003 CTD and the first time I started it the check engine light stayed on. This does'nt surprise me, but I am curious what may be causing this. I am sure others have had this same problem so if anyone has any ideas, I would appreciate the help. I double checked all the connections so I can pretty much rule that out. The truck seems to run and drive the same as it did before on stages 0-3, I hav'nt taken it beyond that yet. Also if anyone knows of a way to read the trouble codes without getting a special tool please let me know.



2003 SLT Q/C, 2500, 4x4, 5spd, turbo silencer removed, Edge J/A, otherwise prety much stock..... so far!

Turn the ignition key on and off three consecutive times in a row and read the code on the odometer display. I think this will work on the 03's

When I first installed mine it sometimes turned the check engine light on (though not always). I can't remember the code it threw, but it was something about the 1&2 injector. The truck always seemed to run fine, then one day I started it and it went (I think) into "limp mode" for a little while (maybe 60 seconds). I called Edge that night, they said to send the box in and they would replace it. I dunno if they actually replaced it or not, I'm pretty sure I got the same box back, but there have been no codes or trouble since I reinstalled it.

Thanks D. Inman, that solves one of my problems. I had two stored codes. I found a code list in another thread, but one code was'nt listed. It is P0073 if anyone knows what that is.

P0073 - Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit High Input But I do not know if it is related to the install of the juice.
