Archived is my south bend clutch bad??

Archived ABS, Air Bag light on, no heater controls...

i have a second check engine light. first one was about 6 months ago. it was two things. over boost and fan clutch. truck ran fine after the light came on.



truck has 26k miles on it and is STOCK engine wise. the gauges are not hooked up yet as i have been to busy to do it. i do have a jake E-Brake.



once the light came on this time it stumbled and the jake would not disenguage. the throttle was not responsive much and it was on cruis control. i had been hammering on it a bit prior to the deal but had driven about 2 miles after i was. temp was normal along with oil being in the good zone (i know the oil pressure is a dummy gauge) and volts were 14. 5ish.



cycled the ignition a few times and did a few starts, and he is running great again. i do beat the **** out of him, but he keeps asking for more except for this time. oil is only 1k miles old and air filter is close to needing replaced. fuel filter is mid life.



ill check the fluids and levels in the AM. since it will be sunday ill drive my beater the remainder of the weekend then take the truck to the dealer on monday to have the codes ran.

Key trick

Turn the key on off on off on off on leave it on then look at your odometer where your mileage is located. should say a p code. then after displaying all codes set will say done.

Pedal Position Sensor... . no clue about this one. have something to do with the stumbling i bet though.



P2127

Pedal Valve position Sensor... . Same deal. falling on its face.

Maybe i beat this thing up to much... .



P0652

GENERIC Sensor Reference Voltage B Circuit Low

yeah... im lost. . something didnt get the power needed... . but what? :confused:



and the last one... .

P0341

Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Range/Performance

hmm... maybe i should take it to the dealer... . i was planing on buying a roktech sensor... glad i waited.





so... any ideas on the cause? was i just beating to hard on him or is something wrong?

the only thing done to the truck is the jake E-brake. i have gauges installed in the cab but need the time to get the fittings done on te engine. the wires are just run inside the engine compartment and zip tied up to the fender. they are in plastic bags and no power goes to them.



i have not ever installed any mods to the engine and dont plan on it untill i have killed the factory warranty. i have 59k more miles for that, so it will be a while.

sounds like your accelerator pedal is going out. since you cant replace the APPS without replacing the entire pedal. That pedals output to the ECM is vital to the rest of the sensors.

yeah, i quit going to them for anything after they changed the oil last time and filled the washer fluid with water. they also tried to ding me for 85 dollars to re-cal the spedo. ill take it out to the place i bought it. in escondido. cant remember the name right now. it will be a couple days before i can get it there. wedsnesday prolly.

have yet to take it in. life is a bit busy right now and i have surgery comming tomorrow (thursday) and will be down for a bit. with the little things like the tool box and the exhaust brake they didnt care. i kind of have the shop in my back pocket on a few thigns due to a problem when buying the truck. they treat me real nice and didnt seem to care much when i talked to them. they did mention strictly NO BANKS. they will void the entire warenty on the truck if you have any banks power adding items.



i know the dealership in carlsbad is very strict on it.
