I keep getting a check engine light. I have been into the dealer about 5- 6 times already they have replaced the O2 sensors, the wiring harness and the module through out the multiple trips in. this last time the preform service light came on in the middle of the dash when it started. The dealer stated they could not reset that. It is an automated feature that will reset if you have them do an exhaust cleaning. 900$ process to clean out the exhaust and put in new gaskets. I have never had to do that on any of my older Rams that i have had. and today the check engine light came back on. Not sure what is causing it. or does the exhaust really need to be cleaned. Not sure why Cummings/ Dodge would require an exhaust cleaning. Has anyone else had this happen.

Thanks

If you're around 67,500 miles, or 135,000 miles, the "Perform Service" light is most likely in regards to the CCV replacement.

Sounds like your "dealer" is employing buffoons that are parts-changers only. Time to find another dealer....
