Check Engine Light On No Error Codes

The check engine light is on but no error codes. Any ideas as to what is going on? The truck is a 2009 2500

Do you have a code reader? Sometimes the key trick might not work on all codes. I had one code early on with my 08, that would not show up doing the key trick. I borrow my sons Smarty to find the error code. I then went out and bought my own coder reader from Amazon.com.

You can take the vehicle to an auto parts store and have them read the code for you. Most do this for free. Or go back to the Dealer and call this a warranty issue and have them check for you since the truck is an 09 and should still be under the warranty period.
