But only when I lett off the throttle -going down the road it's fine. No driving issues. Installed my code reader - no codes. What to do next ??

Ok here's what I found out for the next guy to use. First I noticed that when the check engine light came on the oil pressure gauge would drop to zero or when I let off on the throttle .Very frightening to think you have no oil pressure but what to do besides shut it down and have it hauled in on a flatbed. But common sense prevailed and I thought wow by this time I was almost home and it still ran good and sounded ok. I put it on the code reader but no codes. So I went to the internet. Oil pressure sending unit was bad - others assumed me. Also NO Oil Pressure does set a code and the check engine light will stay on solid. So that's my story 1999 150 k bought new
