Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) check engine light+tach flutter=bad crank sensor

Hey, Had the check engine light come on and off at will for a while, finally noticed a slight flutter in the tach at idle or go to zero while goin down the road. Took it to the dealer and found that the codes showed a bad crank sensor, replaced it, cleared the codes and it runs better than ever now! Just thought I would share this with you. thanks TDR for the info on finding codes by turning the key to start 3 times..... helped out alot. Thanks again.
