Check Engine Light/Transmission Loss

Check engine light is on, and occasionally when decelerating engine drops to near idle speed, and there is no power to wheels. Shifting from drive to neutral and back solves the problem (at least for the moment). It appears that I've got the pre-3 on&off capability for getting p-codes out of odometer. Am I in big trouble?

Maybe the TPS

The codes showing up in the odo started in Y2K.



Your problem sounds like a bad TPS.
