Check Engine Light?

Monday Morning I started my truck to head home from Vegas (no didn't win anything), and the little engine looking light stayed lit. So I cycled the key and it still stayed lit. So I drove home. I should mention I had been hearing noises for a couple of days at low rpms, kinda like a 1st or 2nd Gen would sound. Took it in on Tuesday (light didn't stay on of course), they had it all day, said they found P0606 ECM Hardware Error. Also said they couldn't find anything wrong but suprisingly are going to replace the ECM when a new one arrives. Any ideas of other symptoms I could have been experiencing? I only got 16 - 17 MPG on the trip, when will I see the 20's like people are talking about????? I have 29K on the truck. Thanks. John

i am sotra wondering that too... i've never seen over 17mpg ever yet [although 90% of all my driving is city]

Maybe its the CA emissions killing the mileage. I regularly get 20+ on the highway and 18 or so city with the mods in my sig.
