Check Engine Light

I drove to Atlanta and back this weekend. During the trip I noticed several times that the CEL came on for about 1 second and then went out again. I checked the codes and there was nothing there. Happened 3, maybe 4 times. Twice on the way out there and at least once on the way back.



Has anyone else had this happen? What would cause it?



No other problems except the stupid lamp out ding that I get occasionally. That and ever since I did the fuel tank vent mod I must have a poor connection there because the fuel light comes on and the gauge drops to 'E' for a second. That makes a ding also.

This is the (in)famous dash-ding bug. It's no problem, just annoying. Mine never did it once until 57k miles. Then it did it a few times over a period of about 2 weeks, then mysteriously stopped again. I ignore it because I don't want to go near the dealer.
