2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Check Engine Light

Check Engine is showing up on my dash every once in a while over the last week, 3 times in the last 2 weeks when I start the truck it acts like it is not getting any fuel. I crank it 3 or 4 times and than it starts, other wise it runs fine. Air filter, fuel filter and oil all changed at proper intervals.

Get the codes off the Odometer. Key to on pos, off, on, off, on. Leave it for a few seconds, codes should show up.

96 to 2001 Generic OBDII Code definitions are located in the 911 forum( in a sticky under same title as above).

You cant do the key thing on a 99 need a code reader.
