Hi, I have a 2015 ram 2500 with the cummins engine it has 15000 miles. I did the oil and fuel filter change at about 14000 miles . The check engine light came on 4 days ago. I did the self Diagnostics test, but no codes were there. I disconnected the battery for an hour or so and the engine light went out. After driving the truck about 30 minutes the engine light came on again, but still no codes.. Anyone have any Idea whats going on???

I turn the key on and off 3 times and leave it on the third time. the screen shows "-------" for about 10sec then "-DONE-" . What I've read and videos I've watched this is the way to look at codes if there are any.... Is this correct?

It doesn't always work using the cluster on the late model trucks. Your best bet is the buy an inexpensive scan tool or stop by one of the chain auto parts stores and have them read for you.

I have never been able to get this key flipping sequence to work
