The dreaded "ding" & CEL came on about 500 mi from home. Seems to run fine.
Is there a way to pull the code out without my scan tool ? I'm curious before we start the trip home.

Stop by a local auto parts store. They can at least get you the DTC value so you can post it and we can research it while you depart on your venture back home.

I ended up driving home and using my own tool..pulled P24B5. Checked fuses and wiring. Nothing obvious.
I don't have the access cord so I couldn't try to clear. Any thoughts appreciated.

It's probably the PM Sensor is shot. Do you know if it's a permanent or pending code?

If you can clear it and see if it comes back, that is what I would do before becoming a parts cannon.

Received the security bypass cable and cleared the code. So far so good !
