Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Check engine light

I was wondering if anyone has seen this. This morning my truck wouldn't start. (Dead batteries) After jumping it for about 15 minutes it finally started. The radio reset and now the check engine light is on. One time while I was trying to start it the code "No buS" or "No bu5" came up. I replaced the batteries and it starts fine. (the batteries were getting weak over the last week or so) What can I do to get rid of this check engine light?

Disconnect the batteries for ten minutes will clear the light
