Check Engine lite???

I was coming home from work today and the check engine lite came on. But I left my marker lights on all day and had to get jumped after work. So one the way home the amp guage was only reading 8 or a little above. Whould that moke the light come on??? But when I got home I shut it off and turnd it back on and ia phew times and it went out. I have not drove it eney more sence then. eney body got eney clues or know WHY??????

You would have to pull codes to find out what caused the light to come on. If the on board computer does not sence the same problem after a preset number of start (engine start) cycles the light will go out. This is nothing to worry about - it could be do to your low voltage condition - no way to know without pulling codes.



You need to worry when the check engine light flashes. This is pull over and get her towed situation. This info comes from my time working for a Dodge dealer.
