I have 10,000 miles on my new truck, and the check guages lamp is starting to blink on a regular basis, the only thing I see is that the temp. guage is closer to 200 than normal. Anybody with this problem?
Yes, I also have this problem. Mine has 2500 miles on it and it does it whenever it feels like it. No norm to it at all. Its almost like a loose wire somewhere
There've been a few threads on this subject which you may be able to find with a search. Bottom line is that it is a bug in the programming of the mechanical cluster and there is a TSB to fix it.
I lost my oil pressure reading because of this faulty computer/gauge panel glich. I was told they would have to reflash my computer, but couldn't because they have to update theirs. My understanding is the computer monitors all inputs and then it sets the gauges. What a system!
