When I found the 1st BHAF back in 01, I'd taken measurments to see what max size could be, then spent about a hour at the local Napa looking at catalogs for a filter that fit the size requirment and would hook up easly. I saw lots of great looking filters including what we now call BHAFs.

One thing I considered was relocating the battery on the passanger side to the bed or underneath with a box attached to the frame (or go to one battery) to accomidate a bigger filter, you might consider that. I also gave lots of thought to a big rig setup, you know, the chrome housing is attacted to the cab or fender and a huge filter is located outside the engine compartment, but just couldn't make a good mental picture of that setup.

Let us know what you comeup with.

Good luck, RJR

I did some measuring and I'm wondering about actually coming up out of the turbo and instead of aiming the filter forward, aim it across the top of the engine in front of the cowl.

It would make a neat setup for a cowl induction hood:cool:

I'll let you know when I get itOo. Oo. Oo. Oo.

Heres a bright Idea I had

It looks cool but the turbo nearly collaped the puny F&F filter

Good luck fitting yours in

I know it'll fit one way or another

where theres a will theres a way

Later

DM

NOTE : ITS LOOKS LIKE YOU"LL HAVE TO FIGGER OUT A WAY TO ENCLOSE THE END OF THE FILTER
