how's that affect mileage?

That can't be good for mileage. Does it have a purpose up there or is it for looks?

ray,,supposed to deflect air over the high profile 5er i have and save fuel. would take a lot of towing just to recover the cost of it. i liked the looks with the lights and being stainless steel,so i bought it. check out the profile on this truck( i am way past the stage of worrying about fuel milage) here's a better pic(i hope)

Good lookijng rig Iceman, let us know how it does while towing. I talked to a man with one in Georgia last fall and he said he couldn't tell much difference in the mileage but there were no bugs on the front of his trailer. bg

Iceman, glad you finally got it on. I still like mine and would not take money back for it. Just took it off today as we got back from camping. Hangs in the garage when not on the truck. I think I sent you some pictures of mine. I haven't figured out how to post them yet. I am bout puter ignorant.

fuel pressure gauge

Iceman, where did you get your fuel pressure gauge? Where is this'cubby hole' youmounted it in? what is the pressure scale and what pressure should the pump show? I have a 95 Dodge 3500 diesel. thanks

Looks good Don!!!:D :D I'm still waiting for some OT money before I can get one, along with that Honda Generator.

Is that the window mount???? If so, how easy was it to install and does it seem secure enough?

Kev

kev,,the aluminum angles you can see from the sides are bolted down through the roof. gotta take the headliner out to install the brackets. there are big washers on the inside to keep from pulling it out of the roof and a rubber seal on the outside. i also added lots of rtv around them holes. half of our roof is double wall and this thing is definately on there tight,,no flexing etc. the wing comes off then with 4 bolts that attach to the alum. angles. www.taylorwings.com
