Hi fellow 12-valvers, Power Wagon and I have been spending a lot of time digging into older posts on this forum. We've saved some really informative posts and moved them to the archives for you to read and refer to. If you're a newer member, you might want to check out some of these older posts. Other old posts have been moved to more appropriate forums, and a lot of garbage has been deleted. We're working to give you a leaner, meaner, easier-to-work-with forum!
You cannot add your replies to the posts in the archives, but if you have an important bit of information to add, send me an e-mail and I'll move the post from the archives to this forum, where you can "revive" it. Don't be afraid to dig deeper into the pages on this forum, too. Feel free to dig up older posts and bring them back to life. Some of them are really interesting. In the box on the upper right, where it says "Show topics from the last 20 days", select "Show all topics". You will find that there are 30+ pages of topics (at 40 topics per page!) in this forum alone. That's a lot of information!! Have fun!
Thanks, Andy

Andy:

Thanks for all the information and
also for all your efforts to make
this website even better! I am
continually referring to those
archives and find them VERY
valuable to me.

I have picked up ALOT of information
and if it were not for this website
I don't think my truck would be
running as good as it is now. A
bunch of people on this website
(Koa Man, Joe Donnelly, Piers
Harry, Kat Diesel, DBR) to name
just a few) basically convinced
me that the addition of 370 inj's. ,
gov. sprg. kit and the AFC sprg.
would really change the way my
truck ran and boy were they
ever right!

Thanks for all your efforts and
the efforts of the other
webmasters! I don't know how
you guys do it sometimes.

Sincerely,

John_P.

Thanks for the complements, John! The reason why I posted this is because there's a lot of information that I think gets overlooked once it "falls off" the first page. For example, in the General Diesel Topics forum, there is a topic about putting tubes of sand in the bed as ballast for winter driving. That was from last December, 45 pages deep in the 12-valve forum, and when I "revived" it, it suddenly generated 7 or 8 new replies. I just want everyone to know that there's a lot of information and some very interesting topics that are out there waiting to "come back to life" with new replies and comments.
