The part where they went threw snow and that guy steped off the the track into waste deep powder was pretty cool.

Man there where a couple of trucks in there that the Tracks cost well more then the truk itself was worth. Still would be cool to have.

There are a few threads on theese. I just checked out a guy out on the sled trails with a FourTrax Rincon with a trax setup. All I gotta say is WHOAH!!! absolutly the coolest thing E V E R! I don't believe they were Mattrax tho. never the less I wanted to try it out so bad but when you have 14,000 dollars worth of quad sitting there and all you have is a new sled that is half that for collateral he wasn't gonna give it up. He paid 6200 for the convert which i thought was a lil high.

Made about 60 miles north of me. I was at the factory abou a year ago when my brother picked up a set of tracks for an ATV dealer. My brother lives in Idaho and first saw them on Ford 4WD van snow coaches in Yellowstone.

NO FACTORY TOURS! They run a lot of military contracts.

Couple local guys run them on ATVs and were some of the first customers. Their comments included "really noisy when dry and the mud flies when you get in the goo".

I rode in the company Chevy demo truck. They are very noisy and really pound on the pavement. In the ice, snow, hills they really perform well.

That is a winter Deer Camp wet dream!

$26k... Hmmmm.

Wonder what they look like on a dually.

Wonder when I'll win the lotto.

Yeah, sticks, they're on my lotto big toy shopping list too. I like it when the chev goes over the hood in the swamp and just drives out of it. I'm drooling.

You think our trucks have steering problems now, put those on and it will never drive straight again.

I have seen two trucks up here in AK that had them. The first was a Hummer H1 that was used in the oilfield to do crew change at a remote location, it did fine. The second was a ford f350 crew cab long bed that was used by the same company to haul food/garbage to and from the same remote location. More than once I saw the ford on the back of a flat bed with the front tracks not lined up properly. The mechanic that fixxed it said they where replaceing the entier front end on the ford every time as the stress was just too much.

In defense of this, I know the type of guys that the company that had the trucks hired. They are the kind of guys that break everyhing they touch. Very hard on equipment.

The next winter that company got rid of both of the trucks and went to using Tucker Snow Cats. They could haul more and where built to travel on snow.

I contacted them a few years ago and a salesman (a CTD owner also) kept nagging me to get financed for them, he would call once a week. Nice guy but man did he want a sale. Cut the cost by 75% and sure I will buy them. Spend the rest of the money bulking up the front end.

For those of you who have watch T3, the Terminator T-1 series that is on tracks, Mattracks designed those for the movie. Pretty neat.
