After reading the posts in the 24V forum about chambered mufflers i checked this site out. A friend of mine has them on a 11 second mustang with a 408 and its QUIET!! He has the race mufflers they offer they look like a standard generic muffler shop turbo but they are straight through. Its amazing how quite they are. I was wondering if anyone was using them on a CTD?? I had never heard of them prior to him purchasing them. Just thought I would let everyone know

hey guy whats fthe db number for those bad boys--could you get some noise readings stock- muffy less- and with these muffys and let us know the differances-- $69 bucks is cheap if they add performance (ha ha) - my problem is when towing with out muffy the drone can make me #ad

I don't have anything to measure DB with. Trust me they are very quiet on his mustang. At the drags you can't even hear it drive by with other cars running. Not to many 11 second cars that you can stand right behind them and talk. His are in the stock location with the pipes turned down in front of the rear end. Might e-mail them about the cummins, maybe they have tried one before.

Clark- I think ol'Ron is pulling your chain. On this website, if it ain't roarin, it's not runnin'. Heck, my 12v's engine noise is probably louder than the exhaust with those mufflers! Even so, it's still surprising to hear that performance and quiet can be said in the same sentence. Uh-oh, this program doesn't have a spell check...
